Book 10 Chapter 6 of Tom Jones.

This is part of an ongoing project in which I will record and post one chapter per week of Henry Fielding's Tom Jones over the course of four years.

In this week's chapter, Partridge, without realizing just what he's done, reveals to Jones that he has sent Sophia away the previous night, while Jones was with Mrs. Waters. This upsets Jones to no end, especially when he finds Sophia's lost muff.

In the meantime, the two Irishmen who've been staying at the inn decide to head, out, but before they can, a mysterious man arrives.

There is also, within this chapter, what seems to be an honest advertisement for a coachman called Mr. King of Bath.
