Book 12 Chapter 9 of Tom Jones.

This is part of an ongoing project in which I will record and post one chapter per week of Henry Fielding's Tom Jones over the course of four years.

In this chapter, Tom Jones sets out after Sophia and arrives at the inn at Upton, where we've spent innumerable chapters. At Upton, he's persuaded to stay and have a drink with Mr. Dowling, the lawyer he met back at the inn at Gloucester. Really, that's about it.
