Book 13 Chapter 3 of Tom Jones.

This is part of an ongoing project in which I will record and post one chapter per week of Henry Fielding's Tom Jones over the course of four years.

In this chapter, Mrs. Fitzpatrick visits her cousin Lady Bellaston to get advice on how to deal with Tom Jones and Sophia. Lady Bellaston seems interested in meeting Tom herself, and decides that she will get a good look at him when he returns to visit Mrs. Fitzpatrick. Of course, she's strictly only doing this to protect her young relation, Sophia.
